HACCP is a food safety program developed by the Ontario Ministry of Agriculture (OMAF) with input from the Canadian General Standards Board (CGSB). HACCP stands for "Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points" which means, all points in a production area that might have the potential to be a critical point is monitored as a measure of prevention. This ensures that only the safest quality food is shipped to customers.

In order to be HACCP certified, a company must meet the requirments of HACCP advantage and comply with their own food safety management system. Domingos Meat Packers has met those standards of compliance, and is proud to be HACCP Advantage Certified. We are confident that every effort has been taken to ensure all product leaving our plant meets the highest standards in safety and quality.
